Sunday´s full moon is in the watery, intuitive sign of Pisces, an energy that can be highly spiritual and creative for some, confusing and disorienting for others, as boundaries get blurred and things aren’t quite what they seem. To navigate this moon, its best to surrender our need for certainty and learn to ride the waves of the great unknown. The symbolism for Pisces is two fish swimming in the opposite direction, representing the duality of life: one fish depicts our body, the other our Soul, while they swim side by side through the ocean of consciousness. This moon gives us a heightened awareness of our connection to each other and to the Divine. Unconditional love and acceptance can inspire us to selfless acts of compassion and visionary creative expressions. But we can also be overwhelmed by emotions and have a tendency to check out and/or avoid dealing with reality.

Luckily, the Virgo sun brings in some needed clarity, enabling us to keep our feet on the ground and take care of the practicalities of life: housework, hygiene and health. Seemingly mundane affairs, these chores can actually be a means of creating sacred space and honoring our bodies and surroundings as the temples they truly are. At this full moon, it’s typical to yearn for more down-time, so its a perfect moment to get lost in our own world through meditation, retreat, daydreaming, listening to music, watching an inspiring film, or creating works of art. The universe is giving us permission to be dreamy and impressionable at a time of heightened receptivity, highlighting that which can bring us, and others, healing and serenity.

DISCLAIMER: Not everyone is affected by every eclipse, full or new moon. The effects can vary greatly, from people who may not feel anything at all to others that have deeply profound experiences. It really depends on your natal chart and how attuned you are to the collective consciousness. MOST EFFECTED by this full moon are people with planets or angles (Ascendant, Descendant, MC, IC) in 1° – 8° of Pisces, Virgo, Gemini and Sagittarius. Also, people with planets and angles in Cancer are sensitive to any Moon phases.
