Tomorrow we have a full moon – and a special one it is! Called the Super Blood Wolf Moon, manifesting again in 18 years time. It’s also a total lunar eclipse that can be seen in North and South America, Western Europe and North Africa. Eclipses are quite common, but it’s only when they can be seen from where we are, do they really have an impact on our lives. The Moon will be at its closest point to Earth, making it appear very large and earning it the name Super Moon. The eclipse then gives it a red glow, coining the name Blood Moon. Spirit animal wolf was attributed to the month of January, by both Europeans and Native Americans, which stems from the lupine howling at this time of the year.

This lunar eclipse is in the sign of Leo and will bring long term, finalizing and enduring effects, which occur suddenly, between one and 4 weeks before the eclipse, and lasting from 90 days up to one year after. Lunar eclipses bring on a power surge, and in Leo, our affections will be stimulated. People will be more optimistic, generous and inclined to just want to have a good time. No eclipse affects everyone equally. Some may feel a power surge, some a power outage, depending on the area of life (house of your birth chart) the eclipse falls in. Whether challenging or uplifting, eclipses build and reduce pressure, often suddenly. Many of life´s most significant events follow eclipses! This Super Blood Moon will be felt most strongly by people with planets in the beginning degrees of Leo, Taurus, Scorpio and Aquarius.

DISCLAIMER: Not everyone is affected by every eclipse, full or new moon. The effects can vary greatly, from people who may not feel anything at all to others that have deeply profound experiences. It really depends on your natal chart and how attuned you are to the collective consciousness. MOST EFFECTED by this full moon are people with planets or angles (Ascendant, Descendant, MC, IC) in 1° – 3° of Leo, Taurus, Aquarius and Scorpio and the last three degrees of Cancer, Capricorn, Aries and Libra. Also, people with planets and angles in Cancer are sensitive to any Moon phases.
